Jose Mourinho has revealed that he could make a shock return to the English Premier League next season as rumors about his position at Real Madrid begin to surface.

Mourinho who reached legend status while at Stamford Bridge has always stated that a return to England was something that he would like to do.

With current Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson potentially retiring this summer if United win the Premier League, it looks like Mourinho could get the nod to be the next United boss, a job that he would surely warm to.

Mourinho is finding it tough in Spain at the moment as he does not get along with the Spanish media and has previously refused to do interviews with some of the reporters there.

Mourinho has stated before that he loves the passion in the English game and likes the all action style of play that teams in the Premier League play. Mourinho would relish the chance to manage United's top stars like Wayne Rooney and Nani.

Also United would welcome the appointment of an already established manager with the pedigree of Mourinho. Should Real Madrid fail to lift silverware this season then it could be time up for Mourinho at the Bernabeau and the doors may well open at Old Trafford if Sir Alex Ferguson does decide to leave.
