Chelsea and England midfielder Frank Lampard has revealed his joy at the arrival of new Chelsea signings Fernando Torres and David Luiz.

Chelsea left it late in the January transfer window but they spent big. A staggering £70million was spent by Roman Abramovich in the last couple of days in the window.

Chelsea are a bit off the pace in the league but are still in the Champions League.

When asked about the arrival of Spanish forward Fernando Torres, Lampard said "He's made a huge difference, No, he hasn't scored in two games but all the spotlight is on him.

There's a huge responsibility, people are looking to him to do it instantly, but he will make a difference to us.

He's a top-class player, he has boosted the lads already and for sure will come good, he's going to add to us in a big way.''
