Chelsea Keeper to miss start of season
Chelsea have been dealt a major blow as they face the news that their first choice goal keeper - Petr Cech will be out for the whole month of August after tearing a calf muscle in his leg in training. Cech will definately miss the Charity Shield match against rivals Manchester United and also Chelsea's opening Premier League fixture against West Brom.
The injury to Cech means that the goal keeping spot at Stamford Bridge will now go to either Henrique Hilario or Ross Turnbull. Meanwhile rumors have surfaced that Chelsea are preparing a £45 million pound offer form Liverpool frontman Fernando Torres.
